Center Stage Conservatory presents The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women by Carolyn Gage under the direction of our Artistic Director Traci Sky Sprague.

 

The Emma Goldman Theatre brigade, made up of strong ideals and stronger opinions, try, with the help of a hat, to put on a dramatic feminist play called “The Anastasia Trial in the Court of Women”. With one foot in the patriarchy while the other explores the boundaries of female agency, these women put each other on trial and ultimately try to answer the question many women have, “what now?”. Women of the audience serve as our jury, reacting in real time to the arguments before them. Comedic, self-reflexive, and honest, the show reaffirms women's power to make effective change and tell their stories.

Tickets are $10 advance purchase; or $15 cash at the door .  Box office opens 30 minutes before each performance. June 28 - July 7 for only two weekends, with performance at 8pm Fridays & Saturdays, and at 6pm Sundays.
